Nethi to be first Chairman of T-Legislative Council

Hyderabad, June 7 : Senior Congress leader and present Deputy Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, Nethi Vidya Sagar will be acting as the first Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council.

Nethi will be formally sworn in as the Chairman of Telangana Legislative Council on Monday at 9.30 AM.

The 58-year-old popular backward class leader, Nethi Vidya Sagar is a graduate and hails from an agriculturalist family from the backward Nalgonda district. During his four decade long career, he held various positions including Block Congress President, Nakrekal; President District Youth Congress, Nalgonda; Member, A.P. Congress Committee; President, District Congress Committee, Nalgonda (2007-2011); MLC during 2007-2009 and 2009-2015. He was the Presiding Officer: Deputy Chairman, A.P.
