GHMC General Body meeting on June 25

Hyderabad, June 5 : The General Body meeting of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation will be held on June 25.

This will be first GHMC meeting after the formation of Telangana State and new government. The civic body is likely to discuss several issues related to civic amenities in the city. Arrangments for ensuing festivals of Ramzan and Bonalu will be on top of the agenda. Similarly, the GHMC corporators would also discuss the recent directions given by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on improvement of civic amenities in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. They will also discuss the steps to be taken to prevent the occurrence of seasonal diseases in view of ensuing monsoon season.  INN
