Hyderabad, June 5 : CPI (M) leader J Ranga Reddy on Thursday requested Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Reddy to provide relief to the Arogyasri applicants.
Speaking to media persons after meeting the Chief Minister at his chambers in the State Secretariat, Ranga Reddy said that hundreds of applications for treatment under Arogyasri have been pending due to want of white ration cards and other reasons. He requested the Chief Minister to provide relief to all the applicants who have been waiting for treatment for more than four months. He complained that several corporate hospitals were not providing treatment to Arogyasri beneficiaries.
With regard to farmers, Ranga Reddy alleged that many banks were not cooperating with the farmers. He requested the Chief Minister to direct bankers to support the farmers in Telangana. He also insisted that the loan waiver schemes should be implemented without any pre-conditions. INN
