T-cabinet expansion by month-end: Kavitha

Hyderabad, June 2: Nizamabad MP and daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, K Kavitha, on Monday assured that adequate representation would be given to all sections of society in the KCR Cabinet.

Speaking to media persons at the State Secretariat here, Kavitha said that KCR would expand his cabinet by this month-end to accommodate a few more leaders. When asked why no woman was inducted in the KCR Cabinet, she assured that women would be included during the expansion when about seven more ministers would join the Telangana Cabinet.

Kavitha assured that the TRS Government would ensure security and development of women in the new State. She said women would enjoy the benefits of all welfare schemes and focus would be laid on their education. She also said that the TRS Government would come out with a plan for development of all weaker sections like SC, ST, BC and minorities.

Stating that the TRS Government would face several challenges in near future, Kavitha hoped that the new government would face and resolve those challenges in the most efficient manner. (INN)
