Hyderabad, June 2: Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Monday accused TDP President and Chief Minister-designate N Chandrababu Naidu of creating enmity among the Telugu speaking people.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, VHR alleged that Naidu was trying to divide the Telugu speaking people by demanding re-naming of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. He said that the Congress party would not object if Naidu names all the projects in Seemandhra region after late N T Rama Rao. He said that the Seemandhra leaders should not try to dominate the Telangana region even after bifurcation.
VHR said that the demand for renaming of RGIA would hurt the sentiments of people and consequently, it would lead to enmity among Telugus. He ridiculed Naidu’s demand and alleged that the Chief Minister-designate was trying to express his love towards NTR after backstabbing him for power. (INN)
