Hyderabad, June 2 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao took oath as the first Chief Minister of Telangana along with his 11-member council of ministers here on Monday.
Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to KCR and his team at Raj Bhavan. Before proceedings to Raj Bhavan for the swearing-in ceremony, KCR went to Telangana Martyrs memorial and paid rich tributes to those who laid down their lives for the statehood cause. He then went to Raj Bhavan and was administered the oath at 8.15 AM.
The first to take oath after KCR was Mohammed Mahmood Ali, MLC. He took oath in Urdu.
