KCR to take oath as first CM of Telangana today

Hyderabad, June 1 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao will be sworn-in as the first Chief Minister of Telangana on Monday at 8.15 AM at a ceremony to be held at Raj Bhavan.

Telangana, the 29th State of the country, will come into existence on Sunday midnight. The President’s Rule too will come to an end in Telangana from Sunday midnight.

KCR will be administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor ESL Narasimhan, who himself will take oath as the Governor of Telangana on Monday. After taking oath along with his council of ministers at Raj Bhavan, KCR will pay homage to the martyrs of Telangana at Gun Park and later take salute of the official parade at Parade Grounds of Secunderabad.  INN
