Governor reviews law and order situation in Old City

Hyderabad, May 14 : Governor ESL Narasimhan on Wednesday reviewed the law and order situation in the Old City of Hyderabad in the wake of clashes reported.

The Governor took stock of the prevailing situation from the DGP and other senior police officials who briefed him that the situation is fully under control. He asked the people not to believe rumours and also not get panicky since the situation is fully under control.

Senior police officers are closely monitoring the situation and curfew has been imposed as a precautionary measure to prevent the anti-social elements from taking advantage and to check any untoward incident from being taking place, a press communiqué from the Raj Bhavan said.  INN
