Wardhannapet Congress Candidate attempts suicide

Warangal, April 29 : Upset over the media reports that he was losing the elections, Congress candidate from Wardhannapet Assembly segment Kondeti Sridhar on Tuesday reportedly attempted suicide by consuming poison.

According to reports, Sridhar consumed some unknown poison at a mango orchard in Pedda Pendial village of Warangal district. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Hanamkonda. He is stated to be out of danger and his sugar and blood levels were normal.

Financial problems are also said to be the reason that drove him to the extreme step. Police registered a case and began investigations.  INN
