ACB Arrests Crorepati assistant supply officer hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 21 : On credible information that, P. Sandhya Rani (48) an Assistant Supply Officer Circle VI, Civil Supplies Department, Hyderabad W/o K.Lakshmi Narayana, is in possession of assets disproportionate to the known sources of her legal income, a case under P.C. Act, 1988 was registered against her by the Anti-Corruption Bureau and simultaneous searches were conducted at the house of the Asst. Supply Officer, Flat No.503, Legend Anthem Apartments, Regimental Bazar, Secunderabad, office and other places on April 19, 2014 and several incriminating documents pertaining to the Assets, Income and Expenditure of the Accused Officer were seized.

The searches revealed that, the Accused Officer is in possession of three residential plots at Ghatkesar, Hayathnagar and Serilingampally, one G+2 building at Uppal, one Flat at Singapoor Town Ship, Pocharam, Ghatkesar, one Delux three bed room flat at Secunderabad, one SSI Unit at Cherlapally, net cash of about Rs.33.90 lakhs, Gold ornaments of about one and half Kgs. worth Rs.33.50 lakhs, silver articles of two kgs., one Hyundai I10 Car, one Ford Endeavour Car, Investments and deposits of Rs.30.00 lakhs, all worth rupees about Rs.2.24 crores. The investigation is in progress.

The Accused Officer was arrested on April 19, 2014 and produced before the Special Court for SPE & ACB Cases at Hyderabad and was remanded to judicial custody. Case is under investigation.

One killed in train accident

Hyderabad, April 21 : An unidentified woman of about 30 years died on the spot after she was hit by a goods train while trying to cross the tracks.

The accident occurred on the track near Budvel railway station on Sunday evening hours. The Kachiguda Railway Police preserved the body at Osmania Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and identification.

Task Force apprehended two persons with 17.5 kgs of Ganja

Hyderabad, April 21 : On credible information, West Zone team Hyderabad apprehended two persons Pukhraj Raj purohit @ Razzak (40) a driver S/o Vishna Ram, R/o Ahmed Nagar, Patel Nagar, Ambetpet, Hyderabad, (A2) Mohammed Maqbool (62) a Businessman S/o Sarver R/o Swamy Vivekananda road of Warangal district who were indulged in possession of “Ganja” a Narcotic substance, seized 17.5 KGs Ganja & 2 Cell phones from their possession.

Accused persons Pukhraj Raj Purohit @ Razzak and Mohd.Maqbool are friends. The accused Pukhraj Raj Purohit is not having any source of income to lead lavish life, as such he is procuring Ganja, a Narcotic Substance from unknown persons at cheaper rates and selling the same to the needy customers at higher rates. They went to Warangal and purchased 30 KGs of Ganja from unknown person and came to Hyderabad to sell the needy customers as the A1 Pukhraj Raj Purohit had several contacts with the local labor at Hyderabad City. Today in the evening hours while they were trying to sell the Ganja to the needy customers at Pukhraj Raj Purohit’s residence the West Zone Task Force team apprehended the accused persons at the spot.

The accused persons along with the seized material were handed over to SHO, Amberpet Police Station for further investigation.

The case has been investigated by Y. Prakash Reddy, Inspector of Police, West Zone Task Force Team with the assistance of Sub Inspectors D.Jalendar Reddy, K.Srinivas, M. Venkateshwar Goud, and staff of West Zone Task Force team. K. Ramchandran Additional DCP Task Force Hyderabad Said.
