Hyderabad, April 11 : The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee is all set to release its manifesto on Saturday for the ensuing elections.
The manifesto contains a huge list of attractive promises especially aimed at youth and weaker sections of the society. Besides promising one lakh jobs in each district, the Congress is also promising a separate Sub-Plan for Backward Classes and Minorities. Special focus has been given to the infrastructure with the promises of six-lane highways from all districts to Hyderabad, construction of airports at Warangal and Adilabad and improvement of facilities in both rural and urban areas. Besides promising free power to farmers during morning hours, the Congress is also promising at least four new power stations including one 4000 MW power project near Singareni Collieries. The Congress is also embarking upon a new education policy to counter TRS promise of KG to PG free education.
TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Manifesto Committee Chairman D Sridhar Babu and Co-Chairman Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Campaign Committee Chairman C Damodar Rajanarasimha and Co-Chairman Mohammad Ali Shabbir and other senior leaders will release the manifesto at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday. INN
