High Court wants municipal polls results declared on April 9

Hyderabad, April 1 : The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday directed the authorities to declare the results of municipal elections on April 9.

Delivering its judgment, the High Court felt that the results of municipal polls should be declared on April 9 to ensure that the authorities abide its earlier order of completing the entire election process by April 10. Therefore, the counting of votes and declaration of results will now be done on April 9.  INN
