Cong MLA asks KCR to honour promise of merger

Hyderabad, Feb 21 : Congress MLA Nandeshwar Goud on Friday asked TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao to honour the promise of merging his party into the Congress after the formation of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons here, Goud said that the merger of TRS and Congress was essential to ensure the speedy development of Telangana State. He thanked AICC President Sonia Gandhi for granting statehood for Telangana region. He said that Sonia Gandhi turned the 60-year-old dream of Telangana State into a reality. He said people of Telangana would remain indebted to Sonia Gandhi throughout their lives for her gift of Telangana.  INN
