Hyderabad, Feb 20 : Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamalnath on Thursday expressed confidence that the Telangana Bill would be passed in Rajya Sabha today.
Speaking to media persons here, Kamalnath informed that the Telangana Bill has been listed in the Rajya Sabha. However, he accused the BJP of changing its stand on the Bill. He said that the Bill was passed in Lok Sabha without amendments and now the BJP was insisting on carrying out amendments in Rajya Sabha. He requested the opposition parties to pass the Bill.
Kamalnath also assured that the Centre would take steps to provide adequate resources, revenues and facilities to Seemandhra region. He said that the concerns of Seemandhra people are valid and justice would be done with them. INN
