UPCC chief slams Akhilesh Govt for riots

Hyderabad, Feb 9 : Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee president Pramod Tiwari on Sunday criticised the Akhilesh Yadav Government for its alleged failure to protect the lives and properties of minorities in Uttar Pradesh.

Speaking to INN, Tiwari said that the recent Muzaffarnagar riots were a proof of Akhilesh Government’s failure in protecting minorities. He said so far, the government did not even provide the required relief to the riot victims. He said that the government remained inert even when several children died due to cold.

Tiwari said that the BJP, BSP and Samajwadi Party have pushed the Muslims in Uttar Pradesh into an era of backwardness.  INN
