Telangana legislators may boycott Assembly session

Hyderabad, Feb 9 : Telangana ministers are planning to boycott the last leg of budget session of the State Legislative Assembly beginning from Monday.

According to sources, the Telangana ministers were planning to boycott the session to express their protest against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s move to ensure passing of resolution rejection the AP Reorganisation Bill -2013 in the Assembly during last session. The Telangana are also planning to boycott the State cabinet meeting scheduled at 9 AM in Assembly’s Committee Hall on Monday.

Sources further say that the legislators from the Telangana region may also boycott the session of both Legislative and Council. However, a final decision in this regard is yet to be taken.  INN
