Hyderabad, Feb 6 : The Lok Satta Party, which has already named 25 candidates to contest the 2014 Legislative Assembly elections, on Thursday formed district-wise screening committees to choose candidates for other constituencies.
The screening committees will finalize candidates in consultation with local party leaders after considering the applicants’ background and the suggestions received from the public through SYC (Suggest Your Candidate) drive, said State Lok Satta Party General Secretary P. Ravi Maruth in a media statement.
Following are members of the screening committees: Srikakulam & Vizianagaram – Bhisetty Apparao Babji, Dr. Vishnu Murthy, Kottakota Poli Naidu and Sai Parthasaradhi; Visakhapatnam & Khammam – P Ravi Maruth and Gottimukkala Ananda Biharilal; East and West Godavari – Y. D. Rama Rao, S. Janakirama Raju, G. Jankirama Raju and Ramakrishna Rao PVVS; Krishna – Dr.Kamineni Pattabhi Ramaiah and Chennupati Vazeer; Guntur & Prakasam – J Irama Murthy, Allu Ramesh Reddy and Dr. Radha Devi; Nellore and Chittoor – Narra Sridhar, Suneetha Choudary, Ankaiah Choudary and Maddipatla Sidddaiah Naidu; Anantapur – Dr. K. Kondaiah and Veluru Ashok; Kurnool – M Omkar, T.R Jagannadha Reddy, Suneetha Choudary and S.A Majid; Kadapa – M. Omkar and T.R Jagannadha Reddy. Committees to screen Lok Satta candidates
