KCR-led TRS delegation meets PM

New Delhi, Feb 4 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday claimed that Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh was firm on tabling of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill in the Parliament during the vote-on-account session beginning from Wednesday.

Speaking to media persons after meeting the Prime Minister along with a delegation of TRS leaders, KCR thanked the Centre for its support for the formation of Telangana. He informed that the TRS had submitted a memorandum seeking amendments to the Bill. The demands include setting up f a 4000 MW power plant, allocation of natural gas to set up 1400 MW plant at Shankerpally, separate High Court, IIM and AIIMS branch in Telangana region.
