New Delhi, Feb 4 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday claimed that Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh was firm on tabling of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill in the Parliament during the vote-on-account session beginning from Wednesday.
Speaking to media persons after meeting the Prime Minister along with a delegation of TRS leaders, KCR thanked the Centre for its support for the formation of Telangana. He informed that the TRS had submitted a memorandum seeking amendments to the Bill. The demands include setting up f a 4000 MW power plant, allocation of natural gas to set up 1400 MW plant at Shankerpally, separate High Court, IIM and AIIMS branch in Telangana region. Further, he said that Hyderabad should not have any restrictions. INN
