Building permission applications goes online through eTown planning

Hyderabad, Feb 1 : GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain has formally launched e Town planning a provision for filing building permission application on online.

Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that it a good platform for the citizens to utilize this type of service for getting their building permissions approved with transparency and the applicants can interact with the officials online to know the status of their file where it is pending, causes for delay / rejection etc., and the applicant will know the details of the file without going to the offices sitting at one place. He said that this type of initiative is one of its kind and know other Municipality nor the Corporations have introduced earlier, as per the deriving results the GHMC will update as and when depending upon the importance of the status.

GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar said that he was confident that this system will work out effectively and citizens can avail this opportunity in getting their building applications approved by sitting at home and the applicants know the details of the process of the file and can question the officials for the delay if any. He said that he has already directed the Town Planning officials to clear all the building application files which have already been submitted earlier by 28th February without fail and submit a detailed report of the pending files with reasons so that the GHMC can think about the future course of action in settling the pending applicants for approval of the Building permissions.  INN
