SCR conducts workshop on fire safety

Hyderabad, Jan 28 : The Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway conducted a workshop on Fire Safety and usage of Fire Extinguisher at Secunderabad Station on Tuesday.

The Ticket Checking staff, Commercial staff working in Booking and Parcel offices, Railway Protection Force staff and other supervisory officials at Secunderabad station have participated in the workshop. Divisional Commercial Manager, Assistant Commercial Manager and Assistant Security Commissioner of Secunderabad Division participated in the workshop. The main emphasis was on prevention of fire incidents and steps to be taken by railway staff on trains and stations against carriage of inflammables.

Further, the staff were given a demonstration on usage of Fire Extinguisher. All the participating staff were administered an oath on Safety by Divisional Commercial Manager. INN
