Botsa warns of action against rebels

Hyderabad, Jan 28 : Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Tuesday warned of stern action against the rebel candidates who filed their nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections.

Congress MLC K V Satyanarayana Raju alias Chaitanya Raju and MLA Adala Prabhakar Reddy have filed their nomination papers before Legislature Secretary S Raja Sadaram on Tuesday to contest as rebel candidates. Both are contesting the RS polls in the name of Samaikhyandhra. Interestingly, Raju’s candidature was supported by ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Erasu Pratap Reddy.

Botsa said that disciplinary action would be taken against the rebel candidates and also against those who supported their candidature. INN
