Dowry harassment drives women to suicide

Hyderabad, Jan 27 : A 22-year-old house wife died of burn injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze at her residence in Natrajnagar of Jhirra.

According to Tappachabutra police, the deceased Sofia Begum W/o Khader Shah, had allegedly set herself ablaze on Jan 22. She was admitted to the Osmania Hospital where she died on Monday Morning.

Sofia Begum married with khader in the year 2009 and they had two daughters Hameeda and Fareeda, On Jan 22 her husband quarreled with him and allegedly being mentally and physically harassed by her husband Khader for suspecting her character for last few months, deceased taking extreme step committed suicide set ablaze herself after quarreled, Immediately rushed to the OGH where she was died while undergoing treatment on Jan 27.

Tappachabutra Police has been registered a case under section 498A & 306 IPC against Khader, case is under investigation.

Infant baby girl body found at Chandanagar

Hyderabad, Jan 27 : The Chandanagar police found the dead body of an infant baby girl in cartoon near a Highway road side at Chandanagar.

According to Chandanagar police, the newly born infant baby girl is suspected to have been dumped near the Chandanagar road side area Sunday evening hours. Police registered a case under section 318 IPC, The body has been shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. Further investigations are on.

Assistant Engineer water supply & sanitation Chittor in acb net

Chittor, Jan 27 : One Assistant Engineer, Rural Water Supply & Sanitation, Kadapa, Chittoor District, was caught red-handed by A.C.B. Officials, today at 11.30 a.m. when he demanded and accepted bribe of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) from the complainant for processing the pending work file.

Bribe amount of Rs. 5,000 was recovered from him. He is being arrested and will be produced before the Spl. Court for A.C.B. Cases, Rayalseema, Kurnool. Case is under investigation.

Incharge SRO toopran medak district in acb net

Medak, Jan 27 : Incharge Sub-Registrar Officer (A1) O/o. Registration Office, Toopran, Medak District and One private person (A2) were caught red handed by the A.C.B. officials at about 04.45 PM on Jan 27 at Sub-Registrar office, when they demanded and accepted an amount of Rs. 7,000 (Rupees Seven thousand only) as bribe from the complainant for doing an official favour i.e for registration of plot documents and releasing the same pertaining to the complainant ”.

Bribe amount of Rs.7,000 was recovered from private person (A-2). Both the Accused have been arrested and will be produced before the Honorable Ist Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad.
