Cong MLA asks CM to prove he is Hyderabadi

Hyderabad, Jan 23 : Congress MLA Nageshwar Rao demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy clarify the reasons that forced him to oppose the decision of Congress High Command on Telangana issue.

Participating in the debate on Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly, Nageshwara Rao said that Kiran Kumar Reddy’s identity was linked to the Congress party and his open opposition for the Telangana Bill has sent a wrong message among the people. Referring to the claims of the Chief Minister that he was a Hyderabadi, Nageshwar Rao asked him to prove it by supporting Telangana formation.

Nageshwar Rao also listed out the injustices done to the Telangana region and how it was discriminated against in all the sectors including judiciary. He claimed that as many as 30 judges of Andhra Pradesh High Court hail from Seemandhra region while only three are from Telangana. INN
