Governor greets people on Sankranti, Milad-un-Nabi

Hyderabad, Jan 12: Governor ESL Narasimhan on Sunday greeted the people on the occasion of Sankranthi festival and Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Hazrat Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

“I extend my best wishes to all the people of Andhra Pradesh for a Happy and prosperous Makara Sankranthi. I pray to God that the State will prosper radiating happiness, peace and tranquility all over,” the Governor said in a special message.

In another message, the Governor said, “I express my greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens on the joyous occasion of Milad-un-Nabi the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Prophet Mohammad’s teachings are timeless and they will inspire us to strive for the uplift of the poor and needy. May the festival of compassion spread peace, tolerance and brotherhood amongst us.”
