Manmohan Singh is the weakest PM: Venkaiah

Hyderabad, Jan 5 : BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday described Dr Manmohan Singh as the weakest Prime Minister of India ever.

Addressing a press conference here, Venkaiah Naidu said that the Prime Minister, during his latest Press Conference, has admitted his failure to run the country properly in the last nine-and-a-half year tenure. He said that the Prime Minister has preferred the loyalty of Nehru-Gandhi family over the country’s welfare.

Venkaiah Naidu said that the UPA’s regime was full of corruption, bloodshed and unemployment. He said that the country’s GDP fell from 9% to 4% while the Agriculture GDP dropped by 1.9%. He said all sectors registered a negative growth during the rule of Congress-led UPA Government.

Stating that only Narendra Modi could undo the mistakes done by the UPA Government, he said that the Congress party was targeting the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate out of fear of losing next elections.

Regarding Telangana Bill, the BJP leader said that the Bill should be debated in the State legislature. INN
