ARRESTED FOR MANHANDLING
Hyderabad, Jan 4 : A criminal case was registered against the owner(s) of resident of Veenapani Nagar, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad vide CAN:616722395 under the limits of Section of Sub-Division-II under O&M Division-XIII for manhandling the HMWSSB’s GB Contractor Sri.Hemanth Kumar while he was disconnecting the water connection pipeline to the above premises due to nonpayment of arrears of Rs.37,604.53/- inspite of receiving the Red Notice(s) & several oral written reminder(s) since a period of 12 years, the house owner(s) didn’t come forward for settlement of water cess arrears. On dt.03.01.2014 at around 16.00hrs, the GB Contractor Sri.Hemanth Kumar was badly beaten by Mr.Ram Chander Rao and Mr.Venkata Ramana.
The Malkajgiri Police Station registered a criminal case vide Crime Number 11/2014 U/s IPC 353 & IPC 324 against the owner Mr.Ram Chander Rao, an employee of BSNL & Mr.Venkata Ramana were arrested and will be sent to Judicial remand on Monday.
Senior auditor prakasam district in acb net
Prakasam, Jan 4 : One Senior Auditor, O/o. District Audit Office, Ongole, Prakasam District, was caught red-handed by A.C.B. Officials Jan 4 at 13-15 hrs., in his room, when he demanded and accepted bribe of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) from the complainant, for passing the PRC arrears bills of his deceased father.
Bribe amount was recovered from his possession. He is being arrested and will be produced before the Hon’ble IInd Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Nellore. Case is under investigation.
Village revenue officer koyyalagudem mandal in acb net
West Godavari, Jan 4 : The Village Revenue Officer, Parimpudi (V), Koyyalagudem (M), West Godavari District was caught red handed at 05.40 p.m. on Jan 3 at Tahsildar’s Office, Koyyalagudem, W.G. dist. when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.5,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour of processing and to get the enquiry report for issuance of Certificate in respect of the Nine Teak Trees located in the private land, so as to enable the complainant to get clearance from the Forest Department to cut and transport the Teak trees.
The Accused Officer was arrested and being produced before the Hon’ble ACB Court, Vijayawada. Case is under investigation.
Assistant Director Fisheries Guntur district in acb net
Guntur, Jan 4 : The Asst. Director, Fisheries, Vijayawada, I/c of Nidubrolu division, Guntur District was caught red-handed by the ACB officials on Jan 3 at 05.30 p.m. near the water pond at Molpur (V), Guntur district when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.15,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour of organizing skill test to the fishermen of Molpur (V) and to recommend to recognize the Molpur Fishermen Co-operative Society.
The accused officer was arrested and being produced before the Hon’ble ACB Court, Vijayawada. Case is under investigation.
Unidentified man found murdered
Hyderabad, Jan 4 : The Mailardevpally police have found the body of an unidentified man who was brutally murdered by unknown persons.
According to the Mailardevpally police, 30 years man body was found at an abandoned open space near back side of Dannamma compound near Imperial school open land on Saturday morning hours. Police suspected that the man strangulated by unknown persons on Friday late night hours. Deceased was wearing white shirt and Black Jeans pant. Police shifted the body to the Osmania Hospital mortuary for post-mortem and identification and began investigation after registering a case of Murder, Mailardevpally inspector G Ramesh said.
One killed in train accident
Hyderabad, Jan 4 : An unidentified man of about 30 years died on the spot after he was hit by a train while trying to cross the tracks.
The accident occurred on the tracks between Budvel and Shivrampally on Friday night hours. The Kachiguda Railway Police preserved the body at the Osmania Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification.
B Tech student set ablaze, dies
Hyderabad, Jan 4 : A 19 year-old-girl set ablaze herself at her house in Uppuguda of Chatrinaka on Friday night hours.
According to the Chatrinaka police, The girl identified as P Bhargavi daughter of P Srinivas an B Tech third year student of Vignan Jyothi college resorted to the step due to mental depression police suspect.
On Friday night hours her parents were sleeping on first floor at 11.45 P.M Bhargavi was set ablaze on second floor of the building and died on the spot at her house. Suicide reason was not yet. Chatrinaka police registered a case and investigation is on
Three killed in different road accidents
Hyderabad, Jan 4 : Three separate cases, Three persons were killed in road accidents at different places in the city and outskirts.
A 32-year old business men was died in road accident after fell down from motor cycle in Pahadi shareef police limits.
According to Pahadi shareef police, the deceased, Mohammed Naseer, was died when he was going on his motor cycle on Dec 31 uncontrolled motor cycle hit by divider and he received multiple injuries immediately shifted to nearest private hospital where he was died on Jan 4 early hours.
In another case, A 47-year-old Assistant Professor N Malikarjun Resident of Sri Sai Nilayam, Huda Colony of Chandanagar died undergoing treatment while going on Auto Friday late night hours after hit by a Tata Ace, Malikarjun received multiple injuries immediately shifted to nearest private hospital where he was died on Saturday morning hours. Narsingi police said.
In another case, According to Malkajgiri police, P Jagadish (35), Sales manager in private company, resident of Neredmet, Saturday early hours was going on his bike Uppariguda an APSRTC bus hit, Jagadish was died on the spot. Malkajgiri Police registered a case and shifted the body to Gandhi hospital mortuary for postmortem. Further investigation is on.
Five commits suicide on different reasons
Hyderabad, Jan 4 : A 60-year old Barber committed suicide by consumed unknown poison at his residence on Friday night hours in Chandanagar Police Limits.
According to police, deceased – K Venkateshwarlu, R/o Gopinagar, took this extreme step of suicide due to the financial problems he was facing from last few days. Immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital where he was died on Saturday early hours. Chandanagar police said.
In another case, A-28-year old plumber Syed Naseer resident of Premnagar of Erragadda commits suicide set ablaze himself on Dec 26 immediately shifted to Gandhi hospital for treatment where he was died on Friday night hours. Suicide reason was not yet known. Sanathnagar police said.
In another case, A-35 year old Hotel worker E Shyam Rao resident of Narsingi commits suicide by consuming unknown poison on Friday night hours due to mental depression after quarreled with his wife on petty issue. Immediately shifted to nearest hospital where doctors declared brought dead. Narsingi police said.
In another case, A-26 year old Shaik Reshma, wife of Jameel Khan, resident of Anjaiah Nagar a private employee hanged herself to death at her house. Her husband also worked as a private employee. While Reshma worked during the day and her husband used to work in the evening shift. Depressed over being lonely she hanged herself using a stole to the ceiling fan. Jeedimetla police said.
In another case, A-30 year old software engineer K Sandeep, resident of KPHB took extreme step commits suicide by hanging on Friday night hours. Suicide reason was not known, KPHP Police registered a case and are investigating.
Software engineer commits suicide in KPHB police limits
Hyderabad, Jan 4 : A 26 year-old software engineer B Swati, daughter of Krishna Mohan, resident of Nizampet hanged herself on Friday night.
According to KPHB Police, deceased identified as B Swati, daughter of Krishna Mohan, Swati was in love with a boy by name Raju of the same locality for last few months.
However, the boy refused to marry her and rejected her proposal. Depressed over it she hanged herself.
The police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi hospital mortuary for postmortem.
KPHB Police registered a case under section 306, 420 IPC and started investigation.
