Eluru, Dec 22 : Union Minister for Textiles Kavuri Sambasiva Rao defended his stand against the No Confidence Motion notice served by six Seemandhra MPs against the Congress-led UPA Government.
Speaking to media persons after launching several developmental programs in Pedavegi mandal of West Godavari district here, Kavuri said that the notice served no purpose. Stating that he was ready to quit his post from the Union Cabinet if people demands it to keep the Andhra Pradesh united, he said that he did not support the notice served by Seemandhra MPs as he knew it would not come for discussion.
Kavuri reiterated that he was in favour of united Andhra Pradesh and his stand has not changed even after joining the Union Cabinet. Accusing former MLA Muddalas Rajesh of spreading false propaganda against him, he said that he would support all the movements for Samaikhyandhra. INN
