Hyderabad, Dec 16 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA T Harish Rao on Monday advised the MLAs from Seemandhra region to accept the reality that formation of Telangana State was inevitable.
Speaking to media persons at Assembly media point, Harish Rao said that the Seemandhra MLAs should allow peaceful debate on Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Bill, 2013, and express their views. He said creating uproar or obstructing the debate on Telangana Bill would not stall the process of State’s bifurcation. He said that the Telangana State was just a few weeks away from now irrespective of whether the House debates draft Telangana Bill or not.
Harish Rao also warned the Seemandhra MLAs of all parties against stalling the proceedings of the House to prevent debate on Telangana Bill. He said that the people of their constituencies were watching their behaviour and they would teach them a fitting lesson in next elections.
The TRS MLA also accused TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of trying to obstruct the Telangana Bill through their MLAs. He said while the TDP MLAs obstructed Speaker Nadendla Manohar at the latter’s chamber, the YSRCP MLAs crossed all limits of creating uproar in the House. He said what the YSRCP MLAs would achieve by obstructing the debate in the House. INN
