RTC to regularise over 17,000 employees by next year

Hyderabad, Nov 25: RTC Employees Union president Chandrasekhar Reddy claimed that the State Government has assured to regularise the services of thousands of contract employees soon.

Speaking to media persons after holding talks with Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana and RTC MD AK Khan at the State Secretariat here, Chandrasekhar Reddy said that the minster has assured to complete the regularisation of 9,518 employees by the end of this month. Further, he said that the minister has assured to regularise as many as 17,280 contract employees by September 2014. The State Government also promised to resolve the other pending demands of employees soon, he said.
