Hyderabad, Nov 25: APNGOs president G Ashok Babu on Monday demanded that the minimum salaries of employees be increased to Rs 15,000.
Speaking to media persons after making a presentation before 10th Pay Revision Commission chairman PK Agarwal at the State Secretariat here, Ashok Babu said that the minimum salaries should be between Rs 15,000-150,000. The HRA for employees working in working should be increased by 30 per cent while the increase should be 20 per cent for those working in other places. He also requested the PRC to implement five-day week in Hyderabad. The Pension Scheme too should be on par with Central Government employees.
Ashok Babu also said that the minimum period for working in agency areas should be reduced from three to one year. He also sought an increase in the TA and DA of employees. He also sought an increase in the Maternity Leave period for women employees.
The APNGOs chief also demanded other facilities for the employees from the 10th PRC.
