Hyderabad, Nov 23 : A lady Haj pilgrim from Bahadurpura, Humaira Begum, has passed away in Al Ansar Hospital of Madeenah Munawwarah.
According to the State Haj Committee, the pilgrim passes away on Friday morning. She was admitted to the hospital on October 24 on complaint of high fever. She had left for Haj along with three other pilgrims of her family on September 26 and was scheduled to return back on November 2. Two members under the cover returned back as per the schedule.
Namaz-e- Janaza was performed on Saturday morning in Masjid-e-Nabvi, Madeenah Shareef, and burial took place in Jannat-ul-Baqee. She is survived by her husband and three children.
SHC Executive Officer Abdul Hameed spoke to her husband Mohammed Yousuf who is in KSA and consoled him. He was in touch with the Haj Mission Jeddah for making arrangements of his early return journey. He is expected to return back to Hyderabad in a couple of days.
Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Ahmadullah and Special Officer Prof SA Shukoor condoled the death of the pilgrim and expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for peace of her soul. INN
