Hyderabad, Nov 20 : Congress Legislature Party Secretary Jagdeshwar Reddy on Wednesday condemned some Seemandhra leaders for dragging the Srisailam Project to prevent the division of Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to reporters here, Jagdeshwar Reddy said that the Srisailam was not a Seemandhra, but purely Telangana project. However, the project would cause no harm to the interest of any region and if such a thing happens, then people of Mahabubnagar would not allow such injustices. He said that the name of Srisailam Project was being dragged into the bifurcation debate only to stall the ongoing process of Telangana formation.
However, he said that such controversies would not stop the Telangana State and it would be a reality in the New Year. INN
