Four of a family killed in car-DCM van collision

Warangal, Nov 20 : Four members of a family died on the spot when the car they were travelling in had a head-on collision with a DCM van near Station Ghanpur in the wee hours of Wednesday.

The deceased, AE Bhaskar, a retired AE, and his family members met with the accident while coming from Hanamkonda to Aleru. When they reached near Station Ghanpur, they were hit by a speeding DCM van coming from opposite direction. The impact was so high that all four people on board the car died instantaneously.

The other deceased have been identified as Pushpa, Hema and Gopi. The family belonged to Bhimaram of Hanamkonda mandal. The DCM van driver has been taken into custody for rash driving. INN
