UKG student among four killed in road accidents
Hyderabad, Nov 14 : Four persons, including a six-year-old boy were killed, in different cases of road accidents in the city and its outskirts.
According to Vanasthalipuram police, six-year-old K Praneet Kumar, a UKG student, died on the spot when the bike his father Praveen was riding was hit by another motorcycle near Vanasthalipuram crossroads on Wednesday evening. They met with the accident while going to the church. Praveen survived with minor accidents. They were residents of Indiramma Colony of Hayath Nagar.
In another case, a couple – M Pushamma and Butchaiah, suffered serious injuries when the bike they were riding on was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle between Pedda Shapur and Shamshabad on Wednesday evening. Both were immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where Pushpamma, 35, was declared brought dead. Butchaih is undergoing treatment for the injuries. They met with the accident while returning to their home in Amlapur after attending the funeral of relative.
In a different case, an unidentified man of about 48 years age died on the spot after he was hit by a motorcycle on the Begumpet flyover on Wednesday evening. The Begumpet police preserved the body at the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification.
In the last case, 22-year-old G Shivaiah, died of injuries which he suffered on November 9 after he lost control of his bike and hit a road divider between Aushapur-Ghatkesar Road. He was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where he died in the early hours of Thursday. Shivaiah, a resident of Indiramma Nagar of Rasoolpura, had met with the accident while returning from Bhongir to Hyderabad.
Farm house owner’s wife succumb to burn injuries
Hyderabad, Nov 14 : A 30-year-old woman succumbed to the burns injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze.
According to Mirchowk police, the deceased, Beulaha, took the extreme step at her residence in Mir Alam Mandi on November 11 and succumbed at Gandhi Hospital on Thursday. Beulaha is the wife of Sudhakar, the owner of a farm house at Pargi who was arrested by the police for organising a Rave party.
Beulaha allegedly committed suicide as she felt guilty after her husband was arrested by the police for indulging in immoral acts.
Two-year-old succumbs to burn injuries
Hyderabad, Nov 14 : A two-year-old boy died of burn injuries which he suffered after a hot rice bowl fell on him while playing at his residence in MS Makhta.
According to Panjagutta police, the boy, Abdul Rahman, suffered severe burn injuries on November 9. While playing at his residence, he tried to snatch the rice bowl which was being cooked. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Thursday.
Housewife succumb to burn injuries
Hyderabad, Nov 14 : A 25-year-old woman succumbed to the burn injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze.
The deceased, N Sakku Bai, had set herself ablaze at her residence in Karmika Nagar of Borabanda on November 12. She died at the Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment. According ot Sanathnagar police, Sakku Bai’s husband Vikram had an argument with her brother Raju over some theft at his residence. Consequently, Raju lodged a complaint against Vikram in the local police station. Fearing that her husband might be arrested, Sakku Bai resorted to the extreme step.
Four persons including two women commit suicide
Hyderabad, Nov 14 : A 25-year-old man committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Mallapur in Pahadishareef police limits.
According t police, the deceased Sunil Kumar, a salesman, came to his house in inebriated condition on Wednesday night and had an argument with his wife. Later, he committed suicide by hanging. He was a native of Uttar Pradesh.
In another case, 26-year-old E Srinivas, an employee of a private firm, committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Jafferguda on Wednesday night. He was reportedly suffering from severe stomach pain for the last few days and the same is suspected to have driven him to suicide, Hayathnagar police said.
In a similar case, 55-year-old D Saroja, who consumed toilet cleaner at her residence in North Lalaguda on November 11 due to ill-health, died at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences on Thursday, according to Tukkaramgate police.
In a different case, 30-year-old Shaik Rehana succumbed to burn injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze at her residence on Wednesday evening. She took the extreme step after her husband Shaik Gouse Jani failed to take her to her village for Moharram. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where she died in the early hours of Thursday.
Police ascertain missing man’s identity
Hyderabad, Nov 14 : The Raiduram police on Thursday ascertained the identity of a 52-year-old man who was found dead under suspicious circumstances.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Md Fakhruddin, a government employee and resident of Golconda. He went missing on November 10th and a missing complaint was also lodged in the local police station. His body was found under mysterious circumstances near Radhe Colony on November 11 and was preserved at the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification.
