Education and moral values must go together: Governor

Hyderabad, Nov.14 : Education and moral values must go together and the core essence of value-based education must be imparted to children at school level and teachers should inculcate moral values among them, said Governor ESL Narasimhan here on Thursday.

The Governor was speaking at Raj Bhavan where the Children’s Day was celebrated at Darbar hall with traditional gaiety. “Children should develop good habits like respecting parents and elders, speaking truth, working hard and being honest at all levels, he said. These good habits help grow as a good citizen and bring laurels to the country. That would be the complete education,” he said.

Children and teachers from different schools in the city have greeted the Governor and the Lady Governor. They wished all success to the children and offered them sweets and chocolates. INN
