Amos asks Seemandhra leaders to accept reality

Hyderabad, Nov 13 : Congress MLC KR Amos on Wednesday asked the leaders from Seemandhra leaders to accept the fact that formation of Telangana would be a reality in near future.

Speaking to reporters in the Congress Legislature Party, Amos said that the Seemandhra leaders should stop misleading people of their region by giving them false assurances that Andhra Pradesh would remain united. He said that the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh was nearing completion. Therefore, he said that the Seemandhra leaders should make representations on the new capital and seek packages for the development of their region.

Amos said that the Group of Ministers (GoM) was not constituted to protect the interest of Seemandhra region. It was constituted to formalise the formation of Telangana. INN
