Guntur, Nov 12 : Union Minister of State for Petroleum Panabaka Lakshmi on Tuesday announced that she would vote in favour of Telangana Bill in the Parliament.
Addressing a press conference at Bapatla here, Panabaka said that although she was personally in favour of united Andhra Pradesh, she would abide by the decision of the Congress High Command on the bifurcation issue. She indicated that the Telangana Bill would be introduced and passed in the forthcoming winter session of the Parliament.
Panabaka said that the Seemandhra region could be developed like Singapore after bifurcation with the huge financial support from the Centre. She also promised to transform Bapatla, the constituency that she represents in the Lok Sabha, into “Bhagyanagaram” in terms of development. INN
