Hyderabad, Nov 12 : Director General of Police B Prasada Rao reviewed the law and order situation in a high-level meeting with the top officials of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates at Jubilee Hall here on Tuesday.
In the meeting, attended by the Assistants Commissioner of Police (ACPs) and above rank officials, the DGP discussed several aspects of policing in the Hyderabad and Cyberabad Commissionerates limits. Talking to reporters later, he said issues including law and order, crime control, traffic management and statehood agitations were discussed in the meeting.
According to sources, the top police officials primarily discussed the strategy to be adopted in handling the Law and Order situation in view of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh which includes handling protests and providing protection to the people and properties of Seemandhra people and other related issue. The DGP also discussed the issue of giving protection to women employees working in the Hitech City. INN
