Hyderabad, Oct 25 : The Met Department has issued a fresh warning of heavy rainfall in the State during the next 48 hours.
“Heavy to very heavy rain at a few places with extremely heavy rain at isolated places would occur in all the districts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during next 48 hours. Heavy to very heavy rain would occur at isolated places in all the districts of Rayalaseema during the same period,” the IMD officials said in their latest weather bulletin.
Similarly, intermittent rain or thundershowers, at times heavy in some areas, will occur in Hyderabad and surrounding areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 26 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.
On Thursday, the maximum temperatures appreciably fell at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but appreciably rose at few places over Rayalaseema. They were markedly below normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and at one or two places over Rayalaseema. The highest maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tirupati.
The minimum temperatures changed a little over the state. They were below normal at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, but above normal at one or two places over Telangana and Rayalaseema. The lowest minimum temperature of 20 degree Celsius was recorded at Nandigama and Arogyavaram. INN
