Two killed in road accidents

Hyderabad, Oct 24 : A 30-year-old man died on the spot after he was run-over by a water tanker.

The incident occurred in Alwal police limits on Wednesday night. According to police, the deceased, A Mrugesh, a labourer, asked for lift from the water tanker which was passing by. However, before he boarded the tanker, the driver started the vehicle and Mrugesh slipped, fell and came under the rear tyre of the same tanker.

In another case, 31-year-old N Tukaram died on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a DCM van near Pet Basheerabad crossroads on Wednesday night. Tukaram was a businessman and a resident of Bowenpally. Pet Basheerabad police registered a case and are investigating. INN
