Man succumbs to burn injuries

Hyderabad, Oct 24 : A 35-year-old man died of burn injuries that he suffered after setting himself ablaze in a joint suicide bid along with his wife.

According to Alwal police, the deceased, K Ramesh, took the extreme step along with his wife Lavanya on September 23 at his residence in Turkapally. While Lavanya succumbed on September 25, he died of burn injuries at the Gandh Hospital on Wednesday night. He resorted to the extreme step due to his failure to repay the handloan that he took from his sisters Anuradha and Jyothi. INN
