Woman Haj pilgrim dies in Holy Madina

Hyderabad, Oct 23 : A lady Haj pilgrim from Vijayawada of Krishna District Smt Haji Hameedunnisa, 52, passed away in Madeenah-Al-Munawwarah on Tuesday due to illness.

She was buried on Wednesday after Fajr Prayers in Jannatul Baqi in Madeenah. She had left Hyderabad for Haj by SV5353 on September 25 and had reached Madeenah after performing Haj yesterday itself.

So far, four Haj pilgrims from the State have passed away in KSA, three in Makkah and one in Madeenah.

Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Ahmadullah, Haj 2013 Special Officer Prof S. A. Shukoor and SHC Executive Officer Abdul Hameed have condoled the death of the pilgrim in Madeenah and expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, Haj Pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh have started arriving in Madeenah to pay visit at the tomb of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Prof. Shukoor, in a press release, said that all the pilgrims are hail and healthy in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. INN
