Head constable in ACB net for accepting bribe

Nizamabad, Oct 21 : A head constable of Dichpally Police Station of Nizambad district was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for accepting bribe.

According to the ACB, the accused Talari Pothanna, was caught red handed at the Dichpally Police Station, when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 5,000 as bribe from the complainant to return the original documents pertaining to vehicle No. AP 28 TD 3879, DCM Eicher Van of the complainant.”

The Bribe amount of Rs. 5,000 was recovered from him. He has been arrested and will be produced before the Ist Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad. INN
