Hyderabad, Oct 9 : The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Wednesday demanded immediate dismissal of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy from the post and the imposition of President’s Rule for the smooth completion of process of formation of Telangana State.
A delegation of TRS senior leaders submitted a memorandum to Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday seeking his intervention for the immediate dismissal of the Chief Minister. They also demanded a high-level probe into the allegations leveled against the Chief Minister by former DGP V Dinesh Reddy
Talking to reporters later, Peddapalli MP G Vivek said that the Chief Minister had submitted fabricated reports on several occasions to sabotage the Telangana movement. He said this has been substantiated by Dinesh Reddy who alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy directed him to rake up Maoists issue to stop Telangana. Therefore, the Chief Minister should be dismissed for misleading the Centre and all others.
Vivek said that the Chief Minister did not take any measures to stop agitation in Seemandhra region. Instead, he supported the protests in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions. He also alleged that the Chief Minister was behind the attacks on the properties of PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana in Vizianagaram.
TRS MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy was inciting the Seemandhra employees to continue their strike. He said that the people in Telangana region were being subjected to injustice due to the strike. He alleged that the power meant for Telangana region was being diverted to Seemandhra areas in the garb of strike. He said the strike was affecting the Telangana farmers as they need electricity in the ongoing harvest season. INN
