Hyderabad, Oct 3 : The APNGOs Union and Samaikhyandhra JAC have called for bandh on Friday in coastal Andhra and Seemandhra regions in protest against the Union Cabinet’s nod for the formation of Telangana State.
The Samaikhyandhra leaders said that complete shutdown will be observed in all 13 districts of Seemandhra region. However, the districts JACs called for a 72-hour shutdown in Kadapa, Anantapur and Kurnool districts. Addressing a press conference after the Union Cabinet’s decision, APNGOs president Ashok Babu said that the government employees would intensify their stir. He demanded that the elected representatives from the Seemandhra region including Union Ministers should resign from their posts immediately. INN
