Hyderabad, Sept 1 : YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to be discharged from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences on Wednesday.
Jagan, who was lodged in Chanchalguda Jail in the Disproportionate Assets case, was admitted in NIMS on Friday after his condition deteriorated due to six-days of hunger strike that he undertook against the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He was first moved to the Osmania General Hospital and then moved to the NIMS. Following further deterioration of health, the NIMS doctors forcible administered IV fluids ending his seven-day long fast on Saturday.
According to NIMS doctors, there has been a significant improvement in Jagan’s health and he might be discharged in the next two-three days. Jagan who was being given liquid food was reportedly given semi-solid food on Sunday. He health condition is being monitored by a team of eight doctors.
After discharge from the NIMS, Jagan will be shifted back to Chanchalguda Jail. INN
