OUJAC members held for protest at YSRCP office

Hyderabad, July 28 : Several activists of Osmania University Joint Action Committee were taken into custody when they tried to barge into the office of YSR Congress party at Jubilee Hills here on Sunday.

The OUJAC members held strong protest at the YSRCP office and accused the party MLAs of trying to sabotage the formation of Telangana by giving mass resignations at a time when the Centre was taking a favourable decision on the statehood issue. When the pro-Telangana activists tried to break open the office gate, police foiled their attempt and took them into custody. They were shifted to a nearby police station and released later.

Meanwhile, the pro-Telangana activists shouted slogans against YSRCP Honorary president Vijayamma when she went to participate in the Bonalu Jatara at Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad on Sunday. INN
