Samaikhya Andhra activists hold protest

Kadapa, July 4 : The Samaikhya Andhra Joint Action Committee on Thursday organised protest in Kadapa and Anantapur districts demanding that the Centre keep Andhra Pradesh united.

Several students took out a rally in Kadapa and later tried to lay seize to the district collectorate. Similar protests were organised in Anantapur. The protestors raised slogans against the Centre for its likely move to grant statehood for Telangana region. They also condemned the political leaders from the region for their silence over the Centre’s plans. INN
