Congress Telangana Sadhana Sabha begins

Hyderabad, June 30: By ensuring huge participation, the Congress leaders from the region gave a strong call for the formation of Telangana State.

Addressing the “Telangana Sadhana Sabha” at Nizam Grounds here on Sunday hoped that the Congress High Command would take a decision in favour of Telangana State. Civil Supplies Minister D Sridhar Babu, Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao, former PCC president D Srinivas, Secunderabad MP M Anjan Kumar Yadav and other leaders said that only Congress party was capable of giving Telangana State.

It may be mentioned that former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, T Jeevan Reddy and other leaders who have been maintaining distance from the party were seen active on the dais.

The meeting paid condolence to the martyrs who ended their lives for cause of Telangana.
