Venu Gopal Reddy taken charge as Head, Physics dept: OU

Hyderabad, June 29 : Professor K Venu Gopal Reddy took charge as the Head, Department of Physics, University College of Science, Osmania University.

Venu Gopal joined Osmania University service in 1980 and since then published 30 research papers in various national and international journals of repute. Currently he is also the Director of Central facilities for research and development (CFRD) OU, I/c Director of the University Computer Centre, OU, Chairman, Board of studies in Physics,OU and Chairperson, Board of Studies in Physics, Satavahana University, Karimnagar.

Professor Venu gopal Reddy, during his doctoral work, had designed and fabricated indigenously a “continuous wave NMR spectrometer to work at both low and high temperatures” for the first time in the State. Presently he is doing research in Magnetic Resonance imaging techniques, Bio-electronics, Medical Physics and Nanotoxicity. INN
